Dance for your Life is for everyone interested in ageing well, improving mobility, coordination, and energy levels. Written by Sue Peterson who is a Life Member, educator, and registered ballet teacher of The Royal Academy of Dance, worked as dancer, choreographer, and teacher for 40 plus years, she sees how dance transforms lives around the world, especially through the unseen transferable life skills learnt along the way. She sees even more clearly the benefits of dance and movement on our mental and physical health.

Sue brings awareness to the charity ‘We Can Dance’ she founded in the mid nineties. Children with special needs asked their teacher “Why can’t we dance too?”. So, regular dance lessons began to be taught by dedicated and experienced dance teachers. The Charity now continues thanks to an extraordinarily hard working committee dedicated to brightening the lives of children with special needs in weekly classes across the North of England.
